Correspondence with Texas A & M

With only one piece of correspondence available between the University of Texas and Texas A&M in reference to their football game for the 1910 football season, we gain insight on why their annual Thanksgiving football game in Austin, since 1900, no longer was taking place.  The 1910 football game took place on November 14th at West End Park in Houston.

Prof. E.C.H. Bantel, Chairman of the University of Texas Athletic Council, forwards a letter to the members of the University of Texas Athletic Council he received from the E.J.Kyle, Texas A & M University President of Athletics Association, on the dissatisfaction of Texas A&M University having to travel to Austin when playing their Thanksgiving football game.  Bantel in forwarding the letter from Texas A&M asks the athletic council members if they should have a meeting to discuss Texas A&M proposition of playing their Thanksgiving football game in a neutral location like Houston or Dallas or discontinuing the football game in Austin.  If it is decided no meeting is needed to discuss the matter, Bantel asks what response should he give the Texas A&M?
