Letter from H.J.L. Stark to Alvin L. Browne stating he is sorry that Sewanee was not able to give the University of Texas the date they tried to arrange because Stark felt sure Texas gave as large a guarantee as L.S.U.  Stark goes on to say that the University of Texas would like to schedule a football game with Sewanee during their trip to or from New Orleans.  Stark states this would give them a date somewhere around October 29th for the football game.  Stark also asks what guarantee would Sewanee desire to stop off in Austin for a football game.
