Letter from P. Burke to H.J.L. Stark inquiring if the University of Texas scheduled a football game for Thanksgiving. If they had not, St. Louis University may be in a position to offer a good proposition for a football game on Thanksgiving day in St. Louis.
February 6, 1910
A two-page letter from J.R. Bender to H.J.L. Stark inquiring if the University of Texas had not completed their fall football schedule, he would be pleased for UT to consider a football with St. Louis University on Thanksgiving in St. Louis. Bender goes on to discuss the benefits of playing St. Louis University in St. Louis such as a worthwhile financial consideration, a clean game, and the hospitality of St. Louis.

Letter to P. Burker from H.J.L. Stark stating that he is sorry, but the University of Texas is unable to play a football game with St. Louis University on Thanksgiving day in St. Louis.
