Correspondence with University of Arkansas
Follow the conversation that H.J.L. Stark and Hugo Bezdek, University of Arkansas football coach, had through letters and telegrams as they discuss a possible football game either at the end of October or mid-November of 1910 in Fayetteville, AK. Though the conversation did not bring about a football game, it did start a short discussion about the fact that the University of Arkansas owes the University of Texas some home games.

Letter from H.J.L. Stark to Hugo Bezdek inquiring about what guarantees Bezdek can make for a football on or about November 10th. Stark goes on to ask about possibly playing the football in Austin since the past the football games played with the University of Arkansas had been played in Fayetteville.

Letter from Hugo Bezdek to H.J.L. Stark stating he can offer a $500 guarantee for a football game on the second Saturday in November. Bezdek also responds to Stark's mention of the University of Arkansas owing to the University of Texas some home games.

Bezdek also talks about being willing to enter into a two- or six-year contract with the University of Texas scheduling a football each season an alternating between universities.
